THIS CORRUPT SYSTEM AND EVERYONE INVOLVED WILL BE BROUGHT TO ITS KNEES!
Nancy Schaefer (28 June 1936 – 26 March 2010) was an American politician and conservative activist, who served in the Georgia State Senate from 2004 to 2008.
Born in Clayton, Schaefer became a prominent conservative political activist in Georgia in
the 1980s. She subsequently ran for Mayor of Atlanta in 1993, before running as the Republican Party’s nominee for Lieutenant governor of Georgia in 1994, where she lost to incumbent Democrat Pierre Howard. She unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for Governor in 1998, finishing in third place behind Guy Millner and Mike Bowers with 7.7% of the vote in the party’s primary election. She was elected to the State Senate in 2004 for the northern-state 50th district, where she served until she was defeated by Jim Butterworth in a Republican primary in 2008. She had also sought to wrest the Republican nomination for Georgia’s 10th congressional district from Paul Broun in 2008, but withdrew her candidacy before the primary election. Throughout her career as an activist and politician, she was a champion of Christian conservative causes, opposing abortion and gay rights and promoting the display of the Ten Commandments in public places. Upon her death, fellow State Senator Ralph Hudgens eulogized her as “almost like a rock star of the Christian right”. She was a senior official in the Baptist church, having served as a First Vice President of the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Schaefer died at her home near Turnerville in Habersham County on 26 March 2010 with her husband of 52 years, Bruce Schaefer. Police concluded the deaths to have been a murder–suicide perpetrated by her husband. Before her death, she published and promoted the report “The Corrupt Business of Child Protective Services”, leading to conspiracy theories surrounding her murder.

My Testimony

WLYB….the gates of Hell awaits those who keep us from our children. We the people have a GOD GIVEN right to raise our children not corrupt Family Courts in this country. This women is my Hero, RIP
I am a Progressive and Nancy Shaffaer spoke to my heart. Her insight into the corrupt practices of CPS should be sounded through the country ~ and her legacy will be preserved by activists like me. While we may never know the truth about her death, I can very clearly see that the possibility of murder considering the $Billions being made off the backs of little kids.
As an activist for low income people, I am seeing the “harvesting” of kids from poor families that are then given to upper income families. The attitude is that even if this is a “mistake” the kids are better off anyway. Not so! According to studies done in MI, WA and NYC + others, it costs 1000% more and is less effective than giving the family services. On top of it all, these kids are 5-7 X more likely to be abused and neglected for profit. And taking them from low income families only traumatizes them for life making them more likely as adults to go to prison, become homeless, become mentally ill, become teen parents, and drop out of school than if left in the home with services that would cost FAR less.
If upper income people do not think taking poor kids will affect them, think again. By picking on defenseless poor families, they are setting legal precedence in family courts across the nation so they can blatantly ignore the Constitution, ignore rights, and ignore what is best for the child by pretending what they do is “in the best interest of the child” (when in reality it is “in the best interest of my wallet”), without having to prove a thing for ANYONE ACCUSED.
Title IV mandates say in order to get funding to take kids and give them to upper income people, “The more kids you take the more money you will make. If you return these kids home, you will LOSE all present and future funding.” States are raking in $billions. In addition to these $Billions, they are also taking about 1/3 of the TANF funding, including Medicaid and food stamps for themselves. Then they deny services to desperate families who are then accused of “neglect” in order to take their kids and profit for themselves. At $10,000 per month per child (more if the child is labeled “disabled” by pumping them full of drugs) instead of spending $1000 or less giving services, this is a pretty penny to collect off the backs of little kids. This is not being done just in one state, ALL states are doing this under federal mandates.
I will never forget you Nancy Shaeffer. You were brave to tell the truth and paid the price. Because of the destruction caused in my state to myself and thousands of other families in violation of the Constitution that people have DIED to preserve, I am willing to pay the same price and will never stop telling the truth!
